Avid Adventures come to Bill Roberts!
Avid4Adventure is an organization that provides outdoor education through experiential learning. Did you know that we can kayak in our soccer field? We can mountain bike on the baseball diamond, and climb mountains in flat playground? Avid4Adventure brings the experience TO the kids, rather than moving kids to the experience. The date our class will be doing this fun and exciting experience is on Thursday, October 9th! We will be sending out more information on this soon.

Early Release Friday Invitation
What do the teachers do on early release Friday? What type of learning takes place Friday afternoons? If you’ve ever wondered what the staff’s professional development looks like, have we got an offer for you! This Friday is a PLC that is open to the parents! Come join us to see what it’s all about. Our PEBC professional developer, Michelle Jones, will be teaching and facilitating our learning this Friday, and we’d love for you to observe. Please RSVP at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/friday555, and then plan to be a part of the learning from 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm, with Michelle guiding you through our process. The WATCH D.O.G.S.
The WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program is kicking off this year at Bill Roberts. Dads of BR students can do many things, starting with volunteering in their child’s classroom. Beyond that, they can help with bus duty, help on the playground, hang up bulletin boards, or help in the specials classes. Their responsibilities and jobs possibilities are endless!! We need your help to support this and get it off the ground. WATCH D.O.G.S. will be available beginning November 8th to help throughout the school.
