This year specials schedules will be consistent by Trimesters. This is the third trimester schedule starting on 3/2/15!
Transition Songs
Each day we have songs that help us know when to transition. We listen to "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamokawiwo'ole and "Home" by Phillip Phillips. Sometimes I mix it up, but each day we play one of my favorites called "Sing" by Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth band. The kids have LOVED learning this song and always ask me to play the music video (every once in awhile I give in!). I think it's a pretty powerful song... and because of many requests I've posted it here for your enjoyment! I have to say that it's amazing when sung by a wonderful group of second graders!!
