Week of January 19, 2015

Don't forget that we don't have school on Monday, January 19th in honor of MLK Day.  We are continuing our study on multiplication.  Your child should have brought home a multiplication flip-book to show some of the strategies we are using to help us solve them.  Please ask your child to demonstrate of few of them!  Here are the main ones we are using:

• Repeated Addition
• Skip Counting
• Fact Families
• Equal Groups
• Area Models
• Arrays

We are also continuing our study of maps.  Some Flat Stanley's have been traveling really far!  Thank you for your participation.
